MINNEAPOLIS — A high school in Minneapolis will be closed Wednesday after officials say they received a credible threat.

Principal Bill Smith said Tuesday night in a notification to the Southwest High School community that officials decided to close the following day to ensure the safety of students and staff. He said teachers are encouraging students to participate in discussions and complete work online during the closure.
