A Toys for Tots drive is still open for applications, but not for much longer.

Friday, Dec. 12, is the last day to fill out applications for Toys for Tots, sponsored by Keys to Life church. Applications can be turned in at the Mower County Senior Center. Applicants must bring proof of driver’s license, proof of address, a birth certificate or social security number for each child they are applying for, and a working phone number.

Although this Toys for Tots drive is not affiliated with the Salvation Army, applicants may only apply at one toy drive. The applications will be reviewed by the Salvation Army, and anyone who applied for both drives will not be accepted for either drive. Applicants are able to apply for both a toy drive and for food at the Salvation Army.

The distribution will take place Dec. 19. People picking up toys are encouraged not to bring their children. For new updates or more information, visit keystolifeaustin.org.
