The Austin girls hockey team snapped a four-game skid when it beat Albert Lea (3-11 overall, 2-8 Big Nine) in AL Thursday.

Chloe Summerfield had a pair of shorthanded goals for the Packers (6-6-2 overall, 3-5-2 Big Nine), Madison Overby had a goal and three assists and Myia Hoium had a goal.

Mara Overby had 22 saves for Austin, which had 29 shots on goal.
