Austin boys basketball team downed by Simley

The Austin boys basketball team couldn’t get off to a good enough start as it lost to Simley (6-4 overall) 52-49 in the Winona State Holiday tournament in Winona Monday.

Dylan Gasner converted a 4-point play to bring the Packers (5-5 overall) within 49-48 late in the game, but Simley put the contest away at the free throw line.
