Bruins fall short in shootout

The Austin Bruins lost 4-3 on a shootout to the Coulee Region Chill in La Crosse Saturday.
The Chill (7-2-2 overall) connected on four of nine shots in the shootout and the Bruins were three for four.
Austin’s Zach Kennedy and Jakob Kullberg scored goals in the last two minutes of the third period to tie the game. Kullberg’s goal came with one second left after Austin had pulled the goalie on a power play.
Luke Dietsch had one goal for Austin (8-3-5 overall).
Jake Kielly had 26 saves for the Bruins.
