Austin girls hockey team wins fourth straight game

The Austin girls hockey team kept its unbeaten streak alive as it beat Winona (2-4 overall, 2-3 Big Nine) 3-1 on the road Saturday.
The Packers (4-0-1 overall, 2-0-1 Big Nine) trailed 1-0 for much of the game, but they poured on three goals in the third period to get the win.
Mara Overby had 22 saves for Austin. Madison Overby had two goals, Brandi Myers had a goal and Haley Tigner had an assist.
Austin has outscored its opponents 26-3 during its current four-game winning streak.
