Adams Dental Clinic adds 2 new staff members

Adams — Adams Dental Clinic expanded earlier this year.

Debra Baumgard and Angela Himebaugh joined Adams Dental Clinic this fall.

Baumgard is a registered dental hygienist with a degree from Rochester Community and Technical College. She has been a licensed hygienist for 15 years and enjoys the one-on-one time she gets to spend with her patients and educating them on oral and dental health. Baumgard is a native of Rochester and a graduate of Mayo High School. She is married and has two children. She and her husband both enjoy gardening and antiquing. She was excited to join a practice in a tight-knit community.

Himebaugh joined the Adams Dental Clinic at the front desk. Himebaugh was excited to join the practice and to be a part of a growing business in her husband’s hometown. She grew up in Austin, where she attended Austin High School, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in communications from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

After graduating from college Himebaugh was crowned Miss Minnesota 2008 and competed in the 2009 Miss America Pageant. She married Leif in 2009 and together they have one son, Avery.

Rebecca Wolterman, who was at the front desk, transitioned to a new position within the office. She enjoys time with her family and is excited to welcome new members to the team and to be a part of a growing dental practice.

Judy Osmundson, who has been with Dr. Ray for over ten years will continue in her role as office support staff.

Adams Dental is run by Dr. Joseph P. Ray, who was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, but he chose a small rural community in southeast Minnesota to start a life and a dental practice. Dr. Ray began practicing at the Adams Dental Clinic on Feb. 2, 1995, a practice started by Dr. Winkels in the 1950s. After almost 20 years, Dr. Ray’s practice is in a new season of growth where they continue to see their long time patients and welcome many new patients.

“I am blessed to have this great team with me as we continue to give the care thathas always been experienced at Adams Dental Clinic,” Ray said in a press release. “We have refreshed our office and expanded our hours and services to better meet patient needs.
