PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A woman who was abducted from a city street is resting at her home in Philadelphia, one day after she was rescued and her alleged captor arrested.

Carlesha Freeland-Gaither’s cousin says the 22-year-old nursing assistant isn’t ready to talk publicly about her three-day ordeal.

Cinquetta Barfield says the family will speak to the media Thursday evening. She says they haven’t slept since Freeland-Gaither disappeared Sunday night.

Law enforcement agents spotted Freeland-Gaither and suspect Devlin Barnes on Wednesday in a car with a broken-out back window in Maryland.
