Lois Earlene Lewison, 80, of Adams, Minnesota, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Lois was born March 7, 1934, to Earl and Helen (Bell) Osmundson in Adams, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Little Cedar Lutheran Church.

Lois attended Adams Public School and graduated in 1952. She went to Minneapolis and took classes at Minneapolis Business College until Dr. Paul Schneider hired her as a receptionist at the Adams Clinic from 1953 to 1958. On Aug. 25, 1956, Lois married Maynard Lewison at Little Cedar Lutheran Church. Lois retired as administrative secretary after nearly 38 years at Little Cedar.

In her spare time, Lois enjoyed reading, camping, vacationing in Branson, visiting with friends and “hanging out” with her dog Harley.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Helen Osmundson; and sister Mary Osmundson.

Lois is survived by her husband, Maynard Lewison, Adams, Minnesota; daughters and sons-in-law, Tamara (Larry) Wilson, Austin, Minnesota, Candace (Paul) Cress, Bloomington, Minnesota, and Darcy (Kevin) Lee, Waltham, Minnesota; grandchildren, Kristine Vukelich, Amber (Paul) Kloeckner, Heather (Joel) Ryks, Amy Cress, Emily (John) Cacic, Amanda (Matthew) VanderPlas, Cory Lee, Caitlin Lee (Fiancé John Anderson), and Jessica Lee; great-grandchildren, Jayda Wilson Oden, April Vukelich, Kaylee Kloeckner, Peyton Ryks, Caleb VanderPlas, Jovie VanderPlas, and Beckett VanderPlas; beloved dog, Harley; brother, Robert (Judy) Osmundson, Adams, Minnesota; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen (Gary) Davison, Glenville, Minnesota; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Allan (Joan) Lewison, White Bear Lake, Minnesota; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, at Little Cedar Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jeremy Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Little Cedar Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home on Sunday and at the church on Monday for one hour before the service. Memorials may be designated to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, or to the Donor’s Choice.
