On Wednesday, officials from U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s office will be in Austin for a Veterans Outreach Staff Tour to highlight resources available to veterans and their families.

The forum will be open to the public and provide attendees the opportunity to learn about local, state and federal resources for health care services, educational benefits and job opportunities for veterans.

Klobuchar’s office will be joined by representatives with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, and the Department of Employment and Economic Development.

The officials will be in Austin at the Mower County Government Center, 201 First St. NE, at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday and will meet in an upstairs conference room.
