KASSON — City and community leaders in Kasson have broken ground on a $2.4 million public library.

Although tablets are increasingly replacing paper books today, the new Kasson Public Library will be about six times the size of the city’s older library. Residents broke ground Wednesday on the land where the 13,600-square-foot facility will stand.
