The No. 2 seeded Hayfield volleyball team swept No.7 Randolph (13-14 overall) by scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-16 in its Section 1A tournament opener in Hayfield Thursday.

Katelyn Bjornson had nine kills for the Vikings (18-10 overall).

The Vikings will play No. 3 seeded Blooming Prairie at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
