Peter Clifford Schmidt, 81, longtime teacher and coach at Pacelli High School, passed away Oct. 27, 2014, at the Adams Healthcare Center after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s eight years ago.

Service: A memorial mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Jim Steffes and Father Steve Peterson officiating.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home and also one hour before the service at the church on Friday.

Interment: Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post No. 91.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pacelli High School, the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, or charity of your choice. Condolences may be left at www.mayerfh.com.
