Rumpza tosses 6 TDs as BP upends No. 6 Lester Prairie-Holy Trinity

Blooming Prairie quarterback John Rumpza had his way as the No. 10 ranked Awesome Blossoms made quick work of previously unbeaten No. 6 ranked Lester-Prairie-Holy Trinity (3-1 overall, 2-1 Gopher) in BP Friday.

Rumpza threw for 273 yards and six TDs as the Blossoms (3-0 overall, 2-0 Gopher) won 41-6. Rumpza made all of his throws count as he had scoring tosses of 58, 54, 70, 38, 27 and 2 yards in the win.

BP senior Tristen Habberman was Rumpza’s top target as he had 117 yards and three scores in the win.
