Review: Student loan data breach not criminal

ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Office of Higher Education says state computer experts found no evidence of criminal activity when private student data was exposed on the website of a student loan program.

Communications director Sandy Connolly says a security analysis found only three unauthorized log-ins to the site. An investigation showed three students accidentally gained access to the information.
