Merlin Players kicking off its 20th season with Patsy Cline

The Merlin Players will open its 20th season with “Always, Patsy Cline.”
The production runs at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 12, 13, 18, 19, 20 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14. It stars Kim Schaufenbuel of Owatonna as Patsy and Tania Legvold of Northfield as Louise Seeger.
“Always, Patsy Cline” is the true story of the friendship between Patsy and Louise Seeger, a Houston housewife. The musical chronicles their relationship through the letters they wrote to each other. Woven through the story are the songs of Patsy, such as “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “Crazy,” “Sweet Dreams,” “Honky Tonk Merry-a-go-round,” “True Love” and “She’s Got You.”
