Cross country: Packer girls rest up for Saturday, Packer boys battle injuries at Mankato West

The Austin girls cross country team gave its top runners some rest and the Austin boys were battered by injuries at the Mankato West Invite Tuesday.

The Packer boys, who were missing Ben Walker and Joe Kroymann to injury, finished sixth out of seven teams with a score of 134. Chanhassen won the meet with a 29.

The Packer girls, who rested their top five runners for the Roy Griak Invite this Saturday, finished seventh out of seven teams with a score of 186. Chanhassen won the meet with a 49.
