The Austin girls soccer team continued its struggles on offense as it lost 1-0 at Rochester John Marshall (4-5-1 overall, 3-4 Big Nine) Tuesday.
The Rockets won the game on a penalty kick with eight minutes left in the contest.
“It was a pretty close game back and forth,” Austin head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo said. “They had more opportunities than us and unfortunately they had the penalty kick at the end.”
The Packers (1-5-3 overall, 1-4-1 Big Nine) have scored one goal or less in four games and they haven’t scored more than two goals all season.
Chloe Summerfield had eight saves for Austin.
