Officers have served warrants at the suspect’s home at least twice before over the past few years, according to McKichan. The man could face charges of drug possession near school property, as the man’s home is several hundred feet away from Neveln Elementary School grounds.

The suspect was taken to Mower County jail pending formal charges from the Mower County Attorney’s office.
