The Austin girls tennis team opened its season at the Mankato East Invite Saturday.

Austin sophomore Megan Flaherty had a solid day at No. 4 singles as she went 4-1.

Megan Fleiner went 2-3 at No. 1 singles for the Packers, Jennifer Bogle went 3-2 at No.2 singles, Maggie Leif went 2-3 at No. 3 singles, Anna Bachmeier and Taylor Tauchnitz went 3-2 at No. 1 doubles, Maggie Trom and McKenna Gleisner went 1-4 at No. 2 doubles and Bailey Mueller and Julieta Cervantes went 3-2 at No. 3 doubles.
