Marvel Arlene (Madsen) Kulsrud, 90, of Clarkston, Washington, passed away on July 12, 2014, of natural causes.

Marvel was born on Dec. 13, 1923, in Mitchell, Iowa, to Martin and Doris (Coon) Madsen.

Marvel is survived by Kristine Stensrude (Wayne), Lewiston, Idaho, and Gary Kulsrud, Clarkston, Washington; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville T. Kulsrud; her daughter Sherrie D. Kulsrud; her parents Martin C. Madsen and Doris E. (Coon) Madsen; and her brother Howard L. Madsen.

A service will take place at 11 a.m. on Sept. 13, 2014, at the St. Ansgar, Iowa, cemetery. Inurnment will be at the St. Ansgar, Iowa, cemetery.
