Elizabeth Harder, June
Elizabeth Harder, a recent Austin High School graduate, was involved in may activities: Choralaires, robotics, softball, soccer and drama. She said the activities helped her get to know many different people at AHS.
She plans to attend Minnesota State University, Mankato, but is undecided on a major. She will begin by fulfilling general requirements.
She said Mrs. Voigt, an Austin teacher, was a person who has had a positive impact on her life. Harder moved to Austin at the beginning of third-grade. Mrs. Voigt helped her get comfortable in a new school and made learning fun.
Harder said her schooling in Austin prepared her to take the next step in her life: college, as classes gave her the academic skills to be successful.
Pedro Ceballos Reyes, May
Pedro Ceballos Reyes graduated from Austin High School. He is described as outgoing, friendly and a hard worker who gives his best effort and is determined to be successful.
He was involved in the Rugby Club, the wrestling program and was the president of the AHS Physics Club. Pedro has also volunteered at Queen of Angels Church.
Pedro is planning on studying business, education or an area in the medical field at the Minnesota State University Mankato.
