Genevieve “Jenny” Wagner, 91, of Austin, died peacefully on June 25, 2014, at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin.

Jenny was born in Albany, Minn., to Rudolph and Alma (Schleppbach) Hanauska on Sept. 4, 1922. She married Willard Wagner in 1944 and they moved to Austin. She belonged to St. Augustine Rosary Society, Sacred Heart Hospice Auxiliary and Melody of Quilts Association. She loved her God, her family, quilting and working in her garden.
Jenny is survived by her sons, Jim and family of Branson, Mo., Jack and family of Ft. Meyers, Fla., and Richard and family of Corpus Christi, Texas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Jenny is preceded in death by her parents; husband Willard; and baby boy.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Sacred Heart Care Center chapel with Fr. Donald Zenk officiating.
