MANKATO — Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to whoever fatally shot a 21-year-old man outside a Mankato ballroom three months ago.
Poth Acouth, of Omaha, Nebraska, was shot about 2 a.m. on April 20 in the parking lot during a disturbance after he attended a Sudanese cultural event at the Kato Ballroom. Three other people were shot and wounded.
Mankato police and the Minnesota Department of Criminal Apprehension announced the reward Wednesday. Investigators say they are confident numerous people saw the shooting.
