A 20-year-old Austin man was arrested Sunday for allegedly throwing a golf-ball sized rock at another man which gave him a cut near his eye.

Police Chief Brian Krueger said the victim was riding a longboard near Wescott Field in northwest Austin when he was approached by the suspect, who was allegedly yelling at him. An argument ensued, and the suspect allegedly found and threw a rock at the victim.

Krueger said the victim had a cut near his left eye. The suspect was arrested for second-degree assault.
