The Mower County Historical Society invites the public to bring a lunch on Thursday and enjoy the third installment of the 2014 Lunchbox History Series at 12 p.m. in the Pioneer Building.

Riverland Community College history professor Dean Ulland will talk about the beginning of World War I in Mower County.

The Lunchbox History Series takes place the fourth Thursday of each month through September.
