Grand Meadow’s grand summer celebration is coming back tomorrow.
Meadowfest will take place June 27, 28 and 29 this year. Activities include a firemen’s chicken barbecue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28. About 800 halves of chicken will be ready for residents for $8 and all proceeds will go toward fireworks.
There will be a Family Fun Night at Grand Meadow Public Schools from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 27, and the ever-popular Vintage Base Ball, which starts at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 28.
“The parade of course is always our biggest event,” said Lori Stier, member of the Grand Meadow Lions Club.
The parade will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday.
