Austin girls take third in Pacesetter state tournament

The Austin 7th grade girls finished 3rd place in the Pacesetter State Championship this past Sunday by defeating Red Lake 40-9, losing 28-24 to Eden Valley-Watkins and defeating Deer River 33-29. They qualified to play at the Target Center on June 28 in the Great Eight four state tournament against the top two teams from Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota.
