The Southland boys golf team edged out Kingsland 205-206 in Cedar River Golf Course Monday.

Southland’s Thomas Bottema was co-medalist with a 44.

“Finally a nice day for the golfers,” Southland head coach Tim Brennan said. “Thomas Bottema keeps getting better as the year goes. It’s fun to see kids improve and Thomas has certainly found his rhythm.  And except for one bad hole, Tyler Westrich’s game made an appearance. That was also nice to see.”
