The Lyle-Pacelli baseball team beat Fillmore Central 6-5 on the road Friday.

FC had the bases loaded with one out in the seventh, but LP pitcher Jordan Cotter got out of the jam to get the win.

“Jordan Cotter stepped up tonight he gave us a much needed complete game,” LP head coach Brock Meyer said. “He threw strikes and we made plays.”

Lucas Klabunde is out for the year for LP (11-5 overall) and seventh grader Corey Retterath played in left field for the Athletics Friday.
