Austin police are looking for suspects after an Austin homeowner reported about $2,000 worth of tools missing from his garage Saturday.
Police Chief Brian Krueger said the victim believes his tools were stolen between April 24 and May 3 from his home at the 400 block of Third Avenue Southwest.
Among the missing tools are socket sets, a steering wheel pillar, torque bits, socket extensions, numerous wrenches and more. Police believe burglars entered the garage from a side door that was unlocked. There is no damage to the garage, according to Krueger.
Anyone with information on the stolen tools is encouraged to call police at 507-437-9400.
