Duplicate Bridge

Tournament results for April 2 with four tables played: First place, Dave Ring and Orrion Roisen; second place, (tie) Edna Knobbe and Georgia Bissen, Jim Fisher and Bud Higgins; third place, Joyce Crowe and Loren Cleland; fourth place, Larry Crowe and Rick Stroup.

Duplicate Bridge is played each Wednesday at noon at the Mower County Senior Center in Austin. All Bridge players are welcome. Call Dave Ring at 507-434-4189.

 Golden Age Club

Hazel Baldner, chairperson, conducted the monthly meeting on April 2 at the Austin Moose Lodge.

“Seeds of Faith” was read by chaplin Dee Murphey.

Mary Ann Davis made the motion and was seconded by Del Srsen to accept the secretary and treasurer’s reports as read.

Jaynord Johnson was welcomed as a new member.

April birthdays will be celebrated by Del Srsen, Sally Michels, Karen Machacek, Jaynord Johnson.

Lunch was furnished by Wilbur Mittag.

Cards (500) were played at eight tables.

Anyone 55 or older is welcome to join.
