Rebels pick up eighth straight win at Lyle-Pacelli tournament

The the No. 3 ranked Southland baseball team continued its dominance at the Lyle-Pacelli tournament as it blanked the Athletics 8-0 and topped Martin Luther 12-7 in Marcusen Park Saturday.
Lukas Anderson controlled the game for Southland (8-0 overall) in the win over the Athletics (4-3 overall) as he struck out 14 and allowed just one hit in seven innings.
Jordan Heimer picked up the win for the Rebels against Martin Luther.
LP lost the first game of the tournament to Medford 10-7 as Kevin Juenger took the loss.
