Letter: Thanks for supporting Taste of Nations

The Taste of Nations planning committee would like to thank everyone who helped make our fifth annual event a success. The primary goal for Taste of Nations is to bring people together. We believe that Taste of Nations is a great way to learn about different people, cultures and traditions in Austin/Mower County. When people come together to get to know each other, the community becomes healthier, stronger and better connected.
Special thanks to the countless volunteers and performers who joined us to share their time, talents and traditions. To all those who worked behind the scenes, your contributions do not go unnoticed! Thanks also to the many people from the community who come out each year to support this event and learn about the rich, diverse heritage in our area. We are proud to be part of a welcoming community!
Thanks to generous donations from our sponsors, the Taste of Nations continues to be offered each year free of charge. We would especially like to thank the following sponsors for their generous contributions: Austin Public Schools, Welcome Center, Riverland Community College, Global Education, US Bank, Porter Language Service, Oak Park Mall, Austin Park and Recreation, and Hormel Foods.
Thanks to all who made this event possible!
