GMLOS girls win Hayfield track and field meet

The Grand Meadow-LeRoy-Ostrander-Southland girls track and field team won the seven-team Hayfield Lions Invite Thursday.
Blooming Prairie took fifth, Hayfield was sixth and Lyle-Pacelli was seventh. In the boys meet, Hayfield was third, BP was fourth, GMLOS was fifth and LP was seventh.
McKenzie Kirtz of GMLOS won the 800- and 1600-meter runs and Lyle-Pacelli’s Sarah Holtz won the triple jump and high jump.
Sydney Bendtsen won the 100-meter dash and long jump for GMLOS.
