An Austin man pleaded guilty to possessing stolen guns Monday in Mower County District Court.
Jacob Scott Farnsworth, 22, awaits sentencing on the felony charge in September.
Farnsworth was arrested on Oct. 18 along with his mother, Shannon Marie Huinker, after officers executed a search warrant for drugs at Huinkers home at the 900 block of Fifth Street Northwest.
According to the court complaint, a resident in Marshall Township reported three revolvers — a .357-caliber, .44-caliber and .45-caliber — all as stolen.
On Oct. 18, after executing the search warrant, authorities found the stolen firearms. They arrested Huinker and Farnsworth and reportedly found another person in the home with 10.65 grams of marijuana. The court complaint added nobody confessed to stealing the guns.
Farnsworth previously pleaded not guilty to the crime in October. His sentencing hearing is Sept. 19.
