Herrera brings home title belt

Thomas Herrera presents his title belt next to his coach and trainer Troy Williams at IMPCACT Martial Arts and Fitness. Herrera recently won the 185-pound SEG/Driller championship and with T.K.O. in the first period. Herrera is now ranked in the top-10 in the state and eight of those fighters are pros. Herrera also raised $1,000 for the Rochester Children's Hospital and he is now training Austin's Nate Williamson, who will fight int he SEG-Driller 170-pound title fight in Canterbury Park in Shakopee Feb. 22. -- Rocky Hulne/sports@austindailyherald.com
