Austin police cited 16 people, ages 14 to 22, after breaking up a loud party Saturday morning.

Police went to the 1100 block of Second Ave. NW at about 2 a.m. Saturday, where eight juveniles and eight adults received citations ranging from minor consumption to violating the social host ordinance and obstructing the legal process.

Two women, 20 and 21, were taken to the Mower County Jail and held until they were sober.
