Frigid temps, NWS wind chill advisory to hit area Tuesday

It’s about to get a lot colder.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory from midnight to noon Tuesday as another round of cold weather hits the region.
Temperatures will drop from a high of 26 in the Austin area Monday to a low of 14 below zero Monday night, with wind chills expected to reach as low as 31 below.
Tuesday will bring a high of 1 below and wind chill values as low as 34 below, while Tuesday night temperatures could get as low as 3 below with a wind chill of minus 15.
Temperatures are expected to stay at single digits or below zero until Friday.
