Susan R. Howe nee ‘Goodnature,’ 42, of Austin, Minn., passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at her home.

Susan was born Oct. 31, 1971, in Austin, where she grew up and graduated from Austin High School. A lifelong Austin resident, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her parents Wayne (Catherine) Goodnature of Austin; Sandra (Dale) Larson of Austin, and her fiancé, Jamie Goligowski. Susan was a wonderful mother to four beautiful children, Kaitlen (Dolan) Wagner, of Minneapolis; Lauren Heiny, Joshua and Jordan Howe, all of Austin. A supportive and caring sister, Heidi Goodnature, and Timothy (Tennile) Thurneau of Austin; and an Auntie  to Kennedy Thompson, Riely Marsolek, Miranda and Brady Thurneau. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and grandfather. Susan was loved by so many family & friends. We will all miss her deeply. Help us remember Susan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Fr. James Steffes officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Worlein Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Interment is at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
