Henry Lowell Iverson, 89, of Port Lavaca, Texas, died Dec. 22, 2013, in Port Lavaca.

He was born Jan. 13, 1924, in Bennington Township to Theodore and Dena (Gilbertson) Iverson. He was married Sept. 1, 1950, to June Carol Francis. He went to school all the way to eighth grade. He was employed at Hormel Foods Corp. in Austin, Minn..

He is survived by sister Marlys Larson, of Spring Valley, Minn.; daughters, Debbie (Curt) Long, of Katy, Texas; Sherri (Benny) Judice, of Port O Connor, Texas; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, June; parents, Theodore and Dena; and siblings, Raymond, Laverne and Violet.
