Forte Milers to perform at Little Cedar Lutheran

If you missed the Forte Milers Barbershop Christmas Chorus at the Paramount Theatre, you’ll have another chance to hear them this weekend.
The Forte Milers will perform at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams. The program will include a range of familiar Christmas songs. There is no charge for the performance, but there will be a free-will offering, the proceeds of which will go towards two charities the Forte Milers have supported for years. They are Camp Winnebago of Caledonia, Minn., a camp for disadvantaged youth and adults, and Opportunity Village of Clear Lake, Iowa, a residential facility for individuals with disabilities.
The Forte Milers Barbershop Chorus — which performed at the Paramount in Austin on Nov. 17 — includes singers from across southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa. It is part of the Barbershop Harmony Society, the largest male choral organization in the world. The Forte Milers Christmas Chorus has been a regular tradition of the Forte Milers for several years.
