Boys basketball: Lyle-Pacelli can’t keep up with Spring Grove

The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball team stayed close to Spring Grove (7-0 overall, 6-0 SEC) for much of the night, but in the end it bowed out 80-53 on the road Monday.
The Athletics (2-5 overall, 2-4 SEC) trailed 43-31 at the half and they were within single digits in the second half.
“I was happy with how our guys responded,” LP head coach Dean DeBoer said. “It’s a tough place to play.”
Jordan Hart had 17 points and Braden Kocer added 15.
