HELGA TOWNSHIP — Two people have died in a house fire in north central Minnesota.

The bodies of a 79-year-old woman and 55-year-old man were found in a home in Helga Township in Hubbard County Tuesday evening. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Department and the state fire marshal.

Bemidji, Cass Lake and Lakeport firefighters responded to the blaze.
