Austin High School’s football team present a nearly $1,660 donation to The Hormel Institute in support of its world-renowned breast cancer research. Money was raised through the team’s second annual “Pink Out Night” game Oct. 16 against Mankato East. Gail Dennison, Director of Public Relations & Development, and Dr. Yibin Deng, one of the Institute’s section leaders researching breast cancer, accepted the donation from the team and Bonnie Kilpatrick, the fundraiser’s leader from the football booster club. The gift will count toward the final Paint the Town Pink fundraising total in February 2014. — Photo provided
