Mother Nature is refusing to play ball with the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center.
For the second time, a planned control burn, with the help of the Austin Fire Department, of 62 acres of prairie was postponed Wednesday night because of rain.
The step is needed for more diverse land that will also have a new trail looking through.
The Nature Center is now eyeing a possible December date to be announced later as the next possible chance for the burn.
