Eastwood Bank announced the addition of Steve Murley as vice president/branch manager in Austin. A northeastern Iowa native and previous banker from Austin, Murley brings to Eastwood — formerly Community National Bank — more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Murley has spent the past several years in commercial and agriculture lending in southeastern Minnesota.
“It’s a great opportunity to come back to Austin to partner with existing and new customers to provide solutions to their personal and business banking needs,” he said in a press release. “I focus on a total relationship concept; advising and helping customers and their families with all their financial needs with an emphasis on exceeding their expectations.”
Murley has been active in various civic and volunteer organizations and said he looks forward to re-joining many of these organizations.
Eastwood announced in July it was acquiring Community National Bank in Austin.
Eastwood has been serving customers in southeastern Minnesota since 1903 and is locally owned and operated. As of Oct. 31, the bank held more than $675 million in assets and employed 200 people at 13 locations in southeastern Minnesota.
