The Austin Bruins bounced back from their worst loss of the season with a 2-0 win over Brookings (4-11-5 overall) in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Neither team scored in the first two periods and the Bruins (15-5 overall) took their first lead of the game when Trey Dodd scored with 14:53 left in the game.

Brennan Sanford added an insurance goal with 2:03 left for Austin, which is still unbeaten at home, and Dodd added another goal on an empty netter.

Nick Lehr picked up his first shutout of the season by stopping all 20 of the shots he saw.
