Creation speaker to make three stops in area

Scott Gillis from Creation Ministries International (www.creation.com) is making a trek to Austin.
The creation ministries expert will speak at 8 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, at Round Prairie Lutheran Church of rural Glenville, at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in London, and at 7 p.m. at Faith Church in Austin.
He will also share his presentation on Monday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. at Knowlton Auditorium in the Austin High School.
Gillis’ presentation will show how scientific evidence, when properly understood, confirms the Bible’s account of creation and a worldwide flood.
Gillis said a common mistake many people make is to confuse natural selection (the variety of features that develop in certain kinds of animals when they are in different environments) with evolution (the changing of one kind of animal into a different kind of animal). Gillis will explain how he believes natural selection is real science, while evolution is pure conjecture.
