Todd Richard Johnson, 43, of Austin, was convicted of two counts of felony first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of felony second-degree criminal sexual conduct last week in Mower County Court. He was sentenced to 234 months in prison. He must also pay restitution to victims. Additional charges for first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct in several cases were dismissed.

The cases began opening this year when a detective took reports on May 1 and May 5 from three girls who claimed Johnson molested them when they were younger than 10. The victims said the sexual abuse happened several years ago in Austin at Johnson’s home, according to the court complaints. All of the victims in each case echoed similar accounts of what Johnson reportedly did to them.
